Dan Herrick joined VICE Media in May 2015 and oversees strategic research and insights for VICE Media’s new cable network, VICELAND.

Within this role, he directs all research and analytics relating to VICELAND content on linear and non-linear platforms. Herrick closely collaborates with VICELAND’s programming, marketing, sales and executive teams, as well as the broader VICE Media growth and sales teams to strategically position VICELAND in both digital and linear environments.

Prior to VICELAND, Herrick spent six years at Viacom Media Networks working in the program strategy departments for VH1, Comedy Central and Spike TV. Before Viacom, he spent close to two years supporting the sales teams at Cox Reps in the ad sales research department.

Dan Herrick was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. In what some would say was a courageous move, he braved the upstate winters for four more years in order to complete his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2007.
