Denise Warren is currently on the Board of Directors of Electronic Arts, a California-based publisher of game software and services. Until March 2016, Warren was President of Digital & CEO of East Coast Publishing for Tribune Publishing.
As President of Digital, Warren led Tribune's companywide digital strategy and operations, including product development, audience development, digital subscriptions, digital technology, advertising operations, digital marketing services, business development and more. As CEO, East Coast Publishing, she was responsible for the daily operations of six media properties including the Orlando Sentinel, Sun Sentinel, Baltimore Sun & Hartford Courant.
Recognized as an expert for driving transformational change, Warren also served as Executive Vice President of Digital Products & Services for The New York Times, where she is widely credited with overseeing the Times’ paid digital subscription model, which ushered in the industry standard for monetizing premium digital content. In her 26 years with The New York Times Company, Warren served in numerous capacities including Chief Advertising Officer, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, and Director of Marketing, among other roles.
Warren began her career as a financial analyst with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). She earned a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Fordham University.
