Tiffany Bender was born and raised in Harlem, New York. She went on to obtain her bachelor's degree at Syracuse University in The College of Visual and Performing Arts. Her focus here was on communication and rhetoric with an emphasis on global communication. It was in the classroom that she uncovered her passion for learning about people on a universal level and through writing expressing  As an undergraduate, Tiffany's extra curricular life would prove to set the stage for her career. By the time she graduated in the spring of 2011, she was nominated for Syracuse University's 2011 Woman of Distinction and given both the La Fueza Community Enhancement Award and Senior Vice President Award for Senior Leadership. Tiffany completed master's degree at the illustrious S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications. While studying television, radio, and film, she created, wrote, and hosted Breakfast with Tiffany --a morning talk show on the university's Orange Television Network. The show live-streamed every morning and received tons of positive feedback on social media sites. Breakfast with Tiffany also allowed her to get back to her passion of learning about people and sharing their stories. She also had the opportunity to host Orange Television Network's only fitness show "Cabin Fever Fitness". It was here that Tiffany was able to share story of triumph after losing nearly sixty pounds her freshman year and encourage others to eat healthy and get fit. While pursuing her master's, Tiffany also had the opportunity to compete as a finalist for Miss Black USA 2012. Although she did not walk away with the title, her personality left such a mark that state director Ijemoa Obilo asked her to help coordinate the 2013-2015 pageants.

Tiffany has produced original content for Investigation Discovery, NBC Universal, MGM Studios, and Sirius XM as well as coordinating for the Tribeca Film Institute. In addition to her content development aspiration, Tiffany hopes to continue to make her community proud through programming and fundraising efforts for her award winning non-profit organization, Y.U.N.G. Harlem.

She is currently an associate producer at NBC Universal with a focus on non-scripted development.
